Your privacy is important to me. This policy describes how I collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

 

1. Personal Information Collected

I collect only the information necessary for the intended purposes:

• Identity and Contact Information:

  • For the contact form: Name, email address, phone number (optional), and the subject of your request.

  • For the newsletter subscription (which you can unsubscribe from at any time): Email address.

• Health and Safety: If you choose to retain my coaching services in lifestyle hygiene and/or neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), I must collect certain data for insurance receipt purposes (first and last name, date of birth, mailing address, and phone number), for safety (name of your family doctor and contact information for an emergency contact), and to understand your needs (reasons for seeking coaching and relevant elements of your health history).

• Navigation Data: IP address, pages visited, and behavior on my site (via Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel).

 

2. Purposes of Collection

Your information is collected for the following reasons:

• To respond to your requests for information.

• To ensure safe and personalized coaching.

• To send the monthly newsletter (if you have consented).

• To analyze the performance of my website to improve my services.

 

3. Consent

By using my site or providing me with your information, you consent to its collection and use. For the newsletter, you explicitly choose to subscribe and may unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the emails. For identification, health, and safety data, you explicitly choose to share this information when your coaching file is opened.

 

4. Communication to Third Parties and Storage

Your personal information will never be sold to third parties or shared with anyone (unless explicitly requested by a court of law). Your data is shared only with necessary service providers:

• Wix: For website hosting and newsletter distribution (data stored on servers that may be located outside of Quebec, notably in the United States or Europe).

• PayPal: For processing international payments (financial data is managed directly by their secure platform).

• Microsoft Teams: For conducting online coaching sessions.

• Analytics Tools: Google and Meta (Facebook) for navigation data.

 

5. Data Retention

I retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or to comply with my legal and professional obligations. Once this period has expired, the information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

 

6. Security Measures

I have implemented physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Given the sensitive nature of health data, no one other than myself has access to it. In the event of a privacy incident involving your personal information, I commit to notifying you and informing the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, as required by law.

 

7. Your Rights (Access and Rectification)

In accordance with the law, you have the right to:

• Consult the personal information I hold about you.

• Request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Withdraw your consent to the use of your data.

• Request the deletion of your data (subject to certain retention obligations).

• Request the portability of your data in a structured and commonly used format.
